Acceptance and scope

By using this website you accept these terms. A professional engagement begins only when Sourcegridbase and the client accept a written scope and any required deposit is paid. Website information is general and does not create an adviser-client relationship.

We audit the consistency and support for financial and household declarations. We do not determine disability, make eligibility decisions, provide legal, tax or medical advice, represent clients before an authority or guarantee approval. The engagement letter prevails if it conflicts with general website wording.

Client responsibilities

Clients must provide complete, legible and truthful records, disclose relevant deadlines and identify authorised representatives. Source documents must not be altered. The client remains responsible for checking, approving and submitting an application or response.

Fees, cancellation and timing

Fees, deposits and estimated timing are confirmed in writing. Turnaround begins after agreed records are complete. Delays in receiving records, expanded scope or third-party events may change timing. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds follow our refund policy.

Intellectual property

Sourcegridbase owns this website, its original text, visual design and general audit materials. A paid client may use the report and schedules prepared for that client’s application. They may not resell templates, remove attribution from proprietary materials or use our name to imply endorsement of altered findings.

Confidentiality and privacy

We take reasonable measures to protect client information and process personal information as described in our privacy notice. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or authorised by the client.

Liability

Services depend on records supplied and the rules and decisions of independent authorities. To the extent permitted by South African law, Sourcegridbase is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by omitted or inaccurate client information, authority delay or an eligibility outcome. Our aggregate liability for a claim connected with a paid engagement is limited to the fee paid for that engagement, except where law prohibits such limitation.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable protections under the Consumer Protection Act.

Website availability and external links

We aim to keep information accurate but may update or withdraw content. External links are provided for context; we do not control their content, security or availability.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Parties should first attempt good-faith resolution by writing to info@sourcegridbase.digital. Subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction, disputes fall within the jurisdiction of South African courts.
